Main duties of the job
* Undertake consultations with a range of patients as an autonomous practitioner, taking history, carrying out physical examination, and using clinical knowledge and judgment to identify potential diagnosis.
* Utilise clinical knowledge and experience to provide competent care to meet the health and social care needs of patients.
* Ensure all treatment provided is based on evidence and best practice.
* Assist clinical audit and the setting and monitoring of service standards.
* Keep accurate and up-to-date records of patient consultations using appropriate clinical software.

* Demonstrate reliable clinical reasoning and a positive, enthusiastic approach to working within a multi‑disciplinary team.

* High QOF, KPIs and enhanced services targets consistently achieved.
* All sites use EMIS Web clinical system and Docman 10.
* Integrated telephony.
* Successful track record of additional service delivery as part of the local GP network.
Qualifications

* Knowledge of EMIS Clinical System.
* Professional registration required.
