Job Description
We are recruiting a Litigation Lawyer on a 3-month temporary contract for a local authority in Surrey.
Duties
* Manage a caseload of housing litigation cases, including prosecution stage
* Lead two major cases in January, requiring court presence
* Prepare settlement agreements, court orders, and procedural correspondence
* Work alongside two ASB officers
* Evaluate settlement options and negotiate resolutions
Skills and Experience Required
* Experience in housing litigation
* Experience handling cases in the prosecution stages
Working Hours
20 hours per week on a part‑time basis. Ideally attend the office on Thursdays; remaining hours can be completed any other working day.
Hourly rate is negotiable, likely around £50‑55 p/h via an umbrella company.
Access to your own vehicle is required.
