The Opportunity
To support our continued growth, we are seeking a visionary Head of Paid Digital to lead our Paid Media function strategically and commercially. This is a senior leadership role designed for a high-level strategist who can balance team mentorship with commercial rigor.
Reporting to the Digital Commercial Director, you will be the driving force behind client success, departmental profitability, and the long-term evolution of our paid media product. You will oversee a talented team of specialists delivering results across Google, Meta, Bing, YouTube, TikTok, and beyond, ensuring our offering remains at the cutting edge of the industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Departmental Leadership: Lead and develop the Paid Media team, providing coaching, 1:1s, performance appraisals, and clear career progression pathways.
* Strategic Ownership: Define and evolve the overarching paid media strategy across all major and emerging platforms.
* Commercial Management: Monitor departmental profitability, staff utilization, and operational efficiency across all accounts.
* Client Growth: Translate complex business goals into actionable, data-led strategies and support new business pitches and high-level upselling opportunities.
* Operational Excellence: Establish and uphold "gold-standard" processes for campaign architecture, optimization, and reporting.
* Innovation: Drive a culture of continuous testing, leveraging new platform betas, and fostering strategic industry partnerships.

Your Profile
* Experience: 5+ years in Paid Media, with a proven track record of leading teams and managing large-scale budgets.
* Strategic Depth: Deep technical expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads, Bing, YouTube, and TikTok, paired with a high-level understanding of performance marketing trends.
* Commercial Acumen: Ability to analyze data not just for performance, but for departmental growth and efficiency.
* Agency Pedigree: Experience within an agency environment is highly desirable; you must be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
* Leadership Style: A collaborative mindset with the ability to present confidently to C-suite stakeholders and mentor junior talent simultaneously.
