The role You’ll work with a broad portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SMEs, supporting senior team members while taking ownership of your own workload.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing year-end accounts for a range of SME clients
* Assisting with corporation tax and self-assessment work
* Completing reconciliations across VAT, payroll, payables and receivables
* Producing accurate working papers and supporting schedules
* Using cloud accounting software, including Xero
* Supporting client queries and helping build strong day-to-day relationships
* Assisting on more complex assignments as your experience develops

You’ll ideally have:
* 3+ years’ experience within an accountancy practice
* AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, or actively studying
* Experience preparing accounts for SME clients
* Good cloud software knowledge, ideally Xero
* Strong attention to detail and a well-organised approach
* Good communication skills and a genuine desire to keep developing
