Do you want to join the St Leonard’s Hospice Team increasing the reach of our palliative care services across the local community? We are recruiting two Wellbeing Coordinators to join the Hospice’s Wellbeing & Outreach Team to increase the reach of our palliative care services across all demographics of the local population, helping to ensure that our services meet the needs of the community. The main duties of these roles will be to: Create and maintain strong relationships with external organisations, community groups to raise awareness Continue to improve St Leonard’s understanding of the community we serve and bring back the voice of the community Help break down barriers to accessing palliative care services Our ideal candidates will: Have experience of providing face to face support to individuals or families in a care or support setting Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to be sensitive and empathetic Be approachable, honest and trustworthy Be able to deliver multiple priorities simultaneously and to a timeline As this role will involve joining community groups, it is essential for you to have a driving licence and drive your own car.
