HGV Class 2 Driver (ADR Preferred) - Temp to Perm
We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our growing operation working out of Northfleet. These are temp-to-perm opportunities, ideal for drivers looking for long-term stability and career progression.
Role Overview
1. Vehicle types: Rigid and Curtainsider
2. ADR preferred (Curtainsider roles will require ADR)
3. Extensive travel within the assigned region
4. Average 4-7 collections per day
5. Collections include hazardous and non-hazardous materials
ADR Work Includes
6. Lead acid batteries
7. Empty paint cans
8. Mixed fuels
Key Duties
9. Safe and compliant transportation of goods
10. Completing daily collections and deliveries
11. Manual handling, including cages and pallets
12. Adhering to transport and ADR regulations at all times
13. Completing relevant paperwork accurately
Pay & Hours
14. £16.00 per hour
15. 6:00am start time
16. 45 hours per week on average
17. Hours vary day-to-day (for example, 9 hours one day and up to 12 the next)
Requirements
18. Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
19. ADR licence desirable (essential for Curtainsider roles)
20. CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
21. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
22. Comfortable with manual handling
