We are looking for friendly, energetic, and attentive Front of House to join our team and help us deliver unforgettable dining experiences with passion and professionalism.
Position Overview:
As a Front of House team member, you will be responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience for every guest. You'll guide guests through the unique Rio dining style, ensure their needs are met promptly, and work as part of a fast-paced, highly coordinated team.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience & Service
* Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly, knowledgeable introduction to Rio's rodízio dining style.
* Take drink orders promptly and collaborate with bartenders and the bar team to ensure timely delivery.
* Monitor guest tables, anticipate needs, and ensure seamless service throughout the meal.
Rodízio & Menu Guidance
* Educate guests about our menu offerings, salad bar, hot sides, and beverage options.
* Explain the rodízio meat service and how to use the dining cards (e.g., green/red system).
* Answer questions about ingredients, dietary restrictions, and menu pairings with confidence.
Team Collaboration
* Work closely with gaucho chefs, bartenders, and the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service.
* Assist in running food and beverages, clearing tables, and resetting for new guests.
* Communicate effectively with team members and managers during busy service periods.
Cleanliness & Compliance
* Maintain a clean and organized section, ensuring tables are reset quickly and professionally.
* Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures in line with company and health department guidelines.
* Ensure proper handling of glassware, cutlery, and service items at all times.
Upselling & Efficiency
* Recommend beverages, desserts, and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and check value.
* Process bills accurately using the POS system and handle payments with care and professionalism.
* Help achieve service speed and quality targets during peak shifts.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a guest-facing restaurant role preferred but not required — training provided.
* Enthusiastic, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
* Strong sense of hospitality, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile.
* Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and maintain high energy throughout service.
* Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
* Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
