Accountant - Accountancy Practice
Our client, a well-established accountancy practice is seeking a full-time Accountant to join their friendly, growing team. This role offers variety across accounts preparation, tax, and bookkeeping for a diverse client base, providing an excellent opportunity to deepen your practice experience in a supportive environment.

Accountant - Accountancy Practice
Responsibilities
* Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies from incomplete records.
* Prepare and submit VAT returns.
* Complete self-assessment tax returns and corporation tax returns.
* Assist with monthly bookkeeping and management accounts.
* Support clients with Capital Gains Tax calculations and submissions.
* Liaise with clients and HMRC as required to resolve queries promptly.
Accountant - Accountancy Practice
Requirements
* AAT qualified (or equivalent).
* Minimum 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice environment.
* Proficient in cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
* Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
* Ability to work to deadlines while managing multiple client priorities.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to use initiative while working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
