Carbon60 is seeking a talented Process Engineer to join their client based in Broughton. As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in translating design intent into technical instructions and manufacturing data for aircraft production.
Key Responsibilities
* Compile and control technical instructions and Manufacturing Engineering data for aircraft detail manufacture, assembly, test, and certification.
* Implement best practice methods, tools, and processes to meet current and future business requirements.
* Deliver detailed work preparation definition, including routings, BOMs, SOIs, and STV calculations.
* Ensure all work and documentation meet departmental procedural and regulatory requirements.
* Project manage detail manufacture, assembly, test, and certification methods, tools, and process improvements.
* Evaluate manufacturing process capacity and recommend design changes as needed.
* Provide electrical/mechanical shopfloor support to operations, supply chain, and Final Assembly Lines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
* Proficiency in using current business management tools, ideally SAP.
* Ability to work from first principles in manufacturing disciplines and make informed business decisions.
* Working knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering, Design, and other Business Information Systems.
* Experienced knowledge of aircraft production, engineering methods, and procedures.
* Understanding of cross‑functional relationships and interactions.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong leadership skills and self‑motivation.
