Your new company Your new school is a large secondary school with academy status located in Clitheroe. The school is coeducational and caters for pupils aged 11-16. The school has consistently been graded as Outstanding in all areas by OFSTED and as a result, has established an excellent reputation in the local community. Your new role Joining a high achieving department, you will be responsible for teaching English to KS4. The role is to commence from June 2026 and will operate, full time, on a temporary basis covering a staff absence. As the role is long term, you will be required to plan and prepare all lessons whilst differentiating in pupil ability. You will also be required to mark and assess all work ensuring that pupils are progressing in line with their target grades. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in securing this position, it is essential that you hold a teaching qualification such as QTS, QTLS or PGCE and have experience of teaching English to KS4.
