Position: Program Manager
The Program Manager is responsible for the development and execution of a portfolio of projects and programs within the organization. This role ensures that all aspects of the program are completed on time and within budget, acting as a liaison between project teams and key stakeholders.
General Responsibilities
1. Lead multiple project activities throughout their lifecycle to ensure completion within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and project managers to plan and develop project scope, deliverables, resources, work plans, budgets, and schedules.
3. Develop and control project deadlines, budgets, and activities.
4. Apply change, risk, and resource management techniques.
5. Address higher scope issues and assess program strengths, identifying areas for improvement.
6. Ensure goals related to customer satisfaction and team performance are met.
7. Implement and manage changes to achieve project objectives.
8. Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders regarding project issues and decisions.
9. Produce accurate and timely reports on program status throughout its lifecycle.
10. Analyze program risks.
Experience / Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
* Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks.
* Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
* Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills.
* High ethical standards and integrity.
* Self-accountability for achieving goals and standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills across organizational levels, including suppliers and external customers.
Leadership & Technical Skills
* Lead a multi-functional global team to define system and product roadmaps aligned with customer and business priorities.
* Define and implement a business case for new opportunities.
* Develop and execute product cost roadmaps in line with company priorities.
* Lead specific change management projects per customer and company requirements.
* Manage customer-facing projects and oversee new technology developments, especially in the evolving heavy vehicle industry.
Specific Experience/Qualifications
* At least 3+ years of experience in Project and/or Program Management.
* Experience working in an Agile development environment.
* Experience leading hardware, software, and system development projects.
* Background in automotive or fast-paced technology development environments (electric vehicle experience preferred).
* Knowledge of cybersecurity and functional safety requirements for the automotive industry is desirable.
