Position Overview:
Main responsibility is to build and maintain strong internal relationships to support the four Senior National Account Managers and ensure sales and profitability targets are met. The Citizen brand has many individual brands that are marketed separately. This role will work on the company’s headline brand and has the biggest responsibility for sales numbers in the company. This role will offer variety across all accounts in our business.
Day-to-day involvement includes hands‑on management of each major account, taking on full account responsibility for selected (smaller) accounts, potentially leading to more in the future. This is a highly analytical role which will require excellent Excel/PowerPoint knowledge.
We would also expect you to have strong analytical skills, excellent organisational skills and impressive presentation abilities.
You will also support the Sales Director for this area of the business as required.
Essential main job functions and overall Responsibilities
* Support & assist all four account managers on the day-to‑day running of each account
* Statistical analysis of the weekly sales reports for each account
* Identifying sales trends across all accounts, preparing reports on findings
* Preparing all graphs & sales analysis so they are ready for presentations every week
* Attending all sales calls with the relevant manager to take notes and contribute towards customer selections
* Weekly analysis of stock and sales trends in major accounts, highlights issues and actions required for the relevant Manager
* Researching website sales and richer content activity across the estate
* Supporting the National Account Managers and Independent work on the above
* Researching all major competitor activity (new launches, pricing, sales activity, incentives), producing a report to update management
* Working closely with the account manager on the Citizen UK (CUK) website and CUK outlet stores, providing insights to the wider team and helping to plan sales activity
* Take over the day‑to‑day running of some selected accounts
* Create a Central point of sale catalogue for the brand, which you will manage across the business, both Nationals and Independents
* Work with both road teams and will be involved in all Sales Meetings twice yearly – preparing presentations for each event
* Assisting with the Forecasting - Financial sheet formatting, ensuring Account Managers have completed tasks on time
* Organising all point‑of‑sale props for annual sales events, coordinating with Marketing to update graphics
* Updating training assets/presentations for the road teams
* Promoting the In‑house learning platform and being the main contact
Experience/qualifications required:
We require a data rational individual who can demonstrate proficiency in data analysis. Experience in the watch sector would be an advantage, but is not essential.
* Demonstrably strong and persuasive presentation skills
* Fully conversant in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
* Excellent analytical and organisational skills
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
* Available to travel as needed
