Edinburgh’s most iconic hotels, soon to be rebranded under the globally
recognised Marriott International brand. The Edinburgh Grand, located in the
heart of the city’s vibrant New Town, will be reimagined as part of The
Luxury Collection, reflecting its timeless elegance and rich character.
Meanwhile, Old Town Chambers, with its unique blend of heritage charm and
contemporary design, will become part of the premium Autograph Collection,
known for celebrating distinctive, one-of-a-kind hotels.
Marketing Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and
strategic Marketing Manager to join our team at an exciting and transformative
time. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role as we transition
two of Edinburgh’s most iconic properties – The Edinburgh Grand and Old Town
Chambers – into Marriott International’s prestigious luxury and premium brands.
As part of this evolution, you
will have the unique chance to shape the future positioning of these hotels on
the global stage, leveraging the power and reach of the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty
programme and collaborating closely with Marriott’s regional and global
marketing teams. You will lead the development and execution of compelling
marketing and PR strategies that not only reflect the heritage and
individuality of these exceptional properties but also align with the high
standards and brand values of Marriott International.

What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting into the General Manager, you will be leading and
executing integrated marketing strategies for both hotels across brand,
digital, content, and partnership channels.
Create & Elevate the Brand

Drive brand awareness and revenue growth through
innovative campaigns and strategic use of the Marriott Bonvoy platform.

Lead on all design and print details, ensuring
brand consistency and high-quality marketing materials across both properties.
·
Ensure consistency in brand messaging and guest
experience across all touchpoints
·
Create and deliver targeted campaigns that
engage key international markets and elevate the profile of both properties
globally
·
Craft captivating HTML email campaigns to engage
audiences, from potential guests to corporate clients.
·
Manage and enhance social media presence,
supporting content creation, training hotel teams, and auditing performance to
ensure maximum engagement.
Master Digital & Data
·
Own the digital landscape—maintain and update
websites, SEO, and digital advertising to ensure maximum reach and visibility.
·
Analyse performance data to drive strategy,
optimising websites and digital campaigns to boost conversion rates and guest
engagement.
·
Support PR activity to enhance brand reputation
and visibility across key channels.
Collaborate & Innovate
·
Collaborate with Marriott’s brand and marketing
teams to ensure alignment with global campaigns and brand initiatives.
·
Manage local PR, media, and influencer
relationships to maximise exposure and storytelling opportunities.
·
Work closely with property teams, Sales, and
Revenue Management to align marketing efforts with commercial goals.
·
Showcase your expertise by attending and
presenting at relevant meetings and events.
·
Identify new marketing opportunities, staying
ahead of trends and bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
·
Manage marketing activities within set budgets,
ensuring strategic investment for maximum impact.
·
Support with on-property activations and hotel
initiatives, bringing marketing to life for guests and stakeholders.
About You
