DESCRIPTION: As a Strategic Key Accounts Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll support growth and success by developing and maintaining high-value relationships with key customers across our portfolio. This role combines strategic business development, relationship management, and technical expertise to deliver comprehensive solutions that help our customers make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll coordinate cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop account strategies, and execute complex deals while serving as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts. Working in a collaborative matrix environment, you'll coordinate resources across divisions to provide integrated solutions spanning our entire product and service portfolio. The role requires building and maintaining executive-level relationships, developing multi-year strategic plans, and ensuring alignment between customer needs and Thermo Fisher Scientific capabilities. Success depends on your ability to understand complex customer requirements, negotiate sophisticated agreements, and support sustainable business growth while delivering exceptional customer experiences. REQUIREMENTS: • Masters Degree plus 12 years of strategic account management experience in life sciences, biotech, or related industries • Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Business, Engineering or related field • Experience developing and executing complex, multi-year commercial agreements • Strong understanding of biotech/pharma industry dynamics and market trends • Strong relationship-building abilities across all organizational levels • Advanced negotiation, financial analysis, and business planning capabilities • Experience coordinating matrix teams and collaborating across functions • Strong presentation and communication skills at executive level • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite • Strong project management and organizational abilities • Ability to travel up to 50% for customer engagement • Experience growing revenue and expanding market share • Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial • Deep knowledge of laboratory, research, and production workflows • Experience managing large, complex customer relationships
