Finance Data Analyst – ERP Programme
Contract | £400/day | 6 Months | Outside IR35/Umbrella | Remote with once a month to London (UK-based)
Start Date: Early October
Venari Partners is supporting a global organisation through a major finance transformation and is now seeking a Finance Data Consultant to join the programme on an initial 6-month contract.
This role will focus on archiving legacy finance data in preparation for system decommissioning and long-term audit requirements. The successful consultant will work closely with finance, data, and systems teams to extract, cleanse, and structure historic financial records, ensuring completeness, traceability, and audit-readiness.
Key responsibilities include:
* Extracting, preparing, and archiving legacy finance data across multiple systems
* Liaising with finance and data stakeholders to ensure alignment on structure, integrity, and validation
* Supporting reconciliation and controls to ensure data sets meet audit and regulatory standards
Experience required:
* Proven background in finance data archiving, migration, or ERP transformation
* Strong SQL and Excel capability; Snowflake experience is a plus, but not essential
* A solid understanding of finance data structures, accounting logic, and the complexities involved in legacy data preparation
* Highly detail-oriented, structured, and comfortable working independently within a wider programme framework
Start date is early October, with some flexibility for the right profile.
