An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Financial Reporting Accountant to join a respected organisation based in Redruth. This role offers the chance to take ownership of core financial processes and support the delivery of robust reporting across a diverse group structure.
The key duties of this Group Financial Reporting Accountant will be:
1. Producing monthly group management accounts and ensuring timely reporting.
2. Leading on month-end and year-end closing processes.
3. Preparing budgets and forecasts across the Group and supporting financial planning.
4. Producing draft statutory accounts and supporting the external audit process.
5. Managing and developing a small finance team.
6. Preparing and submitting VAT returns for the Group to HMRC.
7. Managing the sales ledger and overseeing key reconciliations.
8. Reviewing and streamlining financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
9. Supporting the development of a data-driven finance team aligned to the organisation’s corporate plan.
