ROLE- Senior Design Engineer
LOCATION- Berkshire
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £50,000 - £60,000, dependent on experience
My client provides Engineering Solutions in the Construction industry. They are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join their team in Berkshire on a permanent basis.
Requirements
* 2-5 years' or more of experience in a similar Design / CAD Operation position
* Experience with factory fit out design - lighting, plumbing, electrical and HVAC layouts
* Experienced using 2D and 3D CAD software - ideally Revit and AutoCAD
* Strong background in M&E
* Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Design, Engineering or similar
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Proficient using MS Office
* Excellent organisational skills and time management skills
* Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team
Responsibilities
* Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings
* Producing drawings to bespoke requirements
* Communicating directly with clients to determine requirements
* Being involved in final layout designs
* Creating the required documentation for design as well as project reports / plans
* Updating 3D models and drawings
* Checking drawings for sign off
* Working in a small multi-disciplinary team on varied projects
