The Role
The permanent Trainee Property Accountant will work directly with the Finance Director, giving the successful candidate amazing exposure & growth opportunities.
The Finance Director is committed to helping the successful candidate grow within their career, allowing them exposure to month-end management accounts, forecasts, budgets etc.
The key components of the role will be:
* Maintain and update lease data and tenancy schedules, including rent reviews, break clauses, and service charge details
* Support service charge reconciliations, including accruals and prepayments
* Process and code supplier invoices, prepare draft rent and service charge reports, and issue approved charges
* Manage insurance recharges and mid-term adjustments
* Verify and input new supplier information, including bank details
* Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for liaising with the Senior Management team
Candidate Profile
* Exposure to property, commercial leases or service charge accounting is highly advantageous
* Driven to succeed within finance
* A proactive mindset and desire to develop within property finance
* Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
* Confidence communicating with clients or stakeholders
