THE ROLE
As Technical Project Manager, you’ll own projects end-to-end from the first client call to the final memorable moment. You’ll bring together technical specs, logistics, and onsite delivery, with the freedom to put your stamp on every show.
Responsibilities for this Technical Project Manager role include:
• Producing technical specifications and CAD drawings
• Quoting and budgeting for projects
• Booking and managing crew (including freelance talent)
• Liaising with suppliers and clients at every stage
• Overseeing logistics such as travel and accommodation
• Coordinating health & safety documentation
• Managing timelines and ensuring smooth delivery onsite
This role isn’t just about managing projects – it’s about being part of the show. You’ll have the chance to take on some of the UK’s most exciting live events, with full support from a hands-on leadership team.
THE CANDIDATE
We’re looking for someone with proven experience in live events and a solid technical understanding across audio, lighting and video. You’ll be confident taking the reins on projects from brief to delivery, with strong client-facing skills and the ability to inspire trust from both crew and clients.
Two possible profiles will shine here:
• The Rising Technician – highly skilled in AV, eager to grow, and ready to take the next step into project management.
• The Industry Connector – well-established in the industry, bringing your own client base and relationships to the table.
Years of experience matter less than your skillset, ambition, and ability to deliver.
This isn’t just another project management role – it’s your chance to make a real impact in a fast-growing, passionate and sociable team. Expect variety, progression, and the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting gigs in the country.
