Edinburgh or Cambridge
This is a unique opportunity to join a UK start-up that has recently secured significant funding following several years of groundbreaking innovation by its co-founders.
I am looking for Graduate Engineers to join a Silicon team as either a Digital Design or Verification Engineer.
Candidates should have an outstanding educational background, including A-levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, or Computer Science, and hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electronic Engineering from a top-tier UK university.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the design and development of digital RTL blocks under guidance from senior engineers.
* Contribute to microarchitecture definition by analysing specifications and documenting design decisions.
* Write clean, synthesizable RTL in Verilog or SystemVerilog
* Perform basic verification of RTL using simulation tools, including writing simple testbenches and assertions.
* Assist in debugging functional, timing, or implementation-related problems with support from the design team.
* Participate in design reviews, presenting work clearly and incorporating feedback.
* Collaborate closely with architects, verification engineers, and physical design teams to ensure smooth handover through the full ASIC flow.
* Learn and adopt best practices for low-power design, high-speed design.
