We are a leading international supplier within the industrial maintenance and distribution sector, operating across multiple countries with a large workforce.
The purpose of this role is to support the Insite Stores Manager with day-to-day operations across three core functions: purchasing (stock / non-stock items) for maintenance and production, material control, and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Main Tasks and Deliverables:
* Support the Insite Stores Manager in sourcing (stock and non-stock) items in line with customer requirements and demands.
* Ensure consistent delivery of agreed levels of customer service.
* Contribute to cost reduction savings against previous suppliers and OEMs.
* Support maintenance engineers with technical enquiries and problem-solving.
* Assist in delivering added-value services and achieving agreed cost-saving targets.
* Arrange site visits with supply partners to identify and support value-added activities.
* Take a proactive approach in identifying sales opportunities across site departments.
* Manage the maintenance warehouse, including goods-in, replenishment, stock checks, and general housekeeping.
