What will I be doing?
This will involve:
1. Maintaining shift logs and providing daily feedback on performance to teams.
2. Carry out toolbox talks for safe systems and safety alerts.
3. Assist supervisors with weekly audits, action plans and oversee corrective actions.
4. Assist supervisors with employee inductions, briefings and training.
5. Assist supervisors with the day to day performance management of employees.
6. Ensure the segregation of all recyclable materials is maximised at the facility.
7. Promote an operating process that keeps focus on health and safety.
8. Ensure all work equipment within the area is used and maintained in a safe manner, reporting all defects are reported and a high standard of housekeeping is maintained.
9. Carry out 5’s audits and SIM observations to promote and maintain the safety & lean culture on site.
What are the requirements?
You must be self-motivated and be able to work as part of a team. This is an ideal opportunity for any employee who is interested in gaining experience in a first line management role and keen to progress and develop their personnel skills.
