This role is responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of care and safety are provided during the night, creating a supportive and secure environment for service users and employees.
Main duties of the role will be to oversee Ullenwood college accommodations during the night hours, ensuring a safe, caring, and well-maintained environment.
Lead and support the night facilitators, ensuring that all team members adhere to the highest standards of care and professionalism.Monitor services users' wellbeing, provide support and assistance as required and address any health or behaviour issues.Support night employees, providing guidance, assigning tasks, and ensuring adherence to protocols.Collaborate closely with Residential managers, nursing employees and other stakeholders to ensure continuity and consistency in service user care.You will be self-motivated, pro-active and enjoy using your own initiative to provide solutions and achieve great outcomes. You will have excellent communication, planning and organisational skills, and be able to implement those plans effectively.
You will hold a relevant Level 3 qualification or above in health or social care alongside a minimum of two years' care experience, you should also have a minimum of 24months experience of people management. As a Deputy Night Manager you will be expected to work throughout the night.
