Contract Type: Ad-Hoc, Part-Time (2-5 shifts per week)
We are looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our home delivery team based in Crewe. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a home delivery contract, delivering a range of products directly to customers’ homes. The successful candidate will be delivering items like furniture, tools, and other DIY products in a friendly and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive a Class 2 vehicle to deliver DIY products to customers’ homes across the local area.
2. Work alongside a Driver’s Mate, who will assist with paperwork and lifting at delivery points.
3. Ensure deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner, while maintaining high standards of customer service.
4. Ad-hoc shift pattern – availability to work between 2-5 shifts per week, including weekends. Flexibility is key.
5. Weekend work will be required
6. Additional hours are available at other contracts to bulk out your weekly schedule if desired.
Requirements:
7. Minimum 24 months of driving experience with a Class 2 vehicle.
8. No more than 6 penalty points on your driving license.
9. CPC & Digi card.
10. Strong customer service skills and the ability to represent the company professionally at all times.
11. Physically fit, as lifting and moving products will be part of the job.
12. Flexibility in working hours, including weekdays and weekends, to meet the needs of the contract.
What We Offer:
13. Competitive pay rates: £15.13 per hour (Monday to Friday) £17.37 per hour (Saturday) £18.48 per hour (Sunday & Bank Holiday) Rates include holiday pay
