An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced Senior Charge Nurse to manage the day to day responsibilities of our two Caithness Community Hospitals, Dunbar & Town & County. These Hospitals deliver care to patients with slow stream rehabilitation needs and end of life care with 8 beds in each unit. The Dunbar Hospital has a Minor Injuries Unit that is open daily 8am to 6pm and there is scope to work more closely with the local GP practice to enhance and develop this service along with an Investigative Treatment room. An out patients service is also run from Dunbar with two experienced and enthusiastic staff members keen to develop a local care model and work with stakeholders to deliver meaningful, easy to access services The role is diverse and involves managing an experienced group of staff passionate about quality of care and high standards The post holder should have relevant experience managing people and service development with relevant experience in a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse role.
