Overview
This is a temporary Housekeeping Assistant role with Avery Healthcare in Droitwich Spa. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and laundry in the care home, while treating residents with dignity and respect. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and laundry in a public setting, as well as knowledge of health and safety procedures.

* Carry out all cleaning duties in accordance with instructions, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as a Housekeeping Assistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home. You will operate according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained.
Other responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
* Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
* Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.

* The ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
