Senior Project Manager – Major Projects \n\n£67,000 to £88,000 + car allowance, bonus, pension and benefits \n\nThis is an opportunity to develop your career and join our high-performing Major Projects team, managing the delivery of a £multi-million critical infrastructure project. You’ll work closely with our actively engaged Contractor and lead the agenda with a team of high-performing cross-functional colleagues. As a valued member of the Thames Water team, you’ll enjoy career development opportunities, flexible working arrangements and excellent benefits. \n\nWhat you’ll be doing as a Senior Project Manager - Major Projects \n\nTake accountability throughout the project lifecycle, governance compliance, and internal/external stakeholder engagement, leading to the smooth transition into operational business. \nSupport the definition of solutions to meet the project objectives, and will be responsible for preparing a clear business case. \nDevelop the best procurement strategy for the project and oversee the specifications and contract documentation production. \nDevelop a strategy for obtaining any required third-party consents, highlighting program and project risks relating to the consents required. \nEffective liaison with the relevant town planning authorities and key internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth running and timely project delivery. \nPromote and sustain Thames Water’s Health and safety vision (zero incidents, zero harm, zero compromises) throughout the project's lifecycle. \nManage and ensure the performance of contractors to deliver project outcomes on time, on cost, and quality. \nContribute to steering project-wide continuous improvement and delivering against stretching targets. \nCommercially manage all contract matters to achieve the optimal outcome for Thames Water.
