Electrical Engineer position for a minimum of 6 months, working 37.5 hours per week with shift times between 06:30 and 19:00 on a rota basis, including on-call duties.
The successful candidate shall be a technician with an electrical background, capable of performing maintenance and installation work on facilities, plant, and equipment throughout the NHS Trust with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities include providing technical engineering advice and support for maintenance of equipment, fabric, and utility services within the trust.
The candidate must possess a current driving license and be willing to use their vehicle for commuting between hospital sites. A mileage allowance will be provided.
Qualifications / Training
* NVQ Level 3
* City and Guilds Level 3 in inspection and testing of electrical installations
* 18th Edition
* First Aid certification
* Health and Safety qualification/certification (e.g., risk assessment training)
* Portable appliance testing City & Guilds 237
Previous Experience
* Experience working in a healthcare environment
* Knowledge of HTM 06.02 (D)
* Teamwork and initiative in work
* Experience in electrical maintenance and repair in demanding environments with conflicting priorities
