Revenue Manager
Location: West Sussex (Hybrid)
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + benefits
Contract: Full-time, permanent
On behalf of my client, a fast-growing, data-led business with a national footprint, I am recruiting for a Revenue Manager to join their finance team based in West Sussex.
The role
Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, the Revenue Manager will play a critical role in improving revenue performance, utilisation, and financial accuracy across the business. This position offers genuine scope to shape processes, recommend improvements, and grow alongside the organisation.
Key responsibilities
Analyse utilisation, customer behaviour, and market trends to optimise pricing and revenue
Support the rollout of new pricing structures, subscriptions, and promotional activity
Monitor revenue, utilisation, and margin performance, identifying underperforming areas and recommending improvements
Build and maintain dashboards and reports for internal and senior stakeholders
Prepare revenue forecasts to support budgeting and long-term planning
Produce accurate client billing, manage invoice collection, and resolve billing queries
Own month-end revenue postings and ensure accuracy within the P&L
Improve data accuracy, systems, and processes, including customer self-billing initiatives
Provide revenue insights and variance analysis to support commercial decision-making
About you
Skills & experience
3-7 years' experience in revenue management, pricing, FP&A, or commercial finance
Background in a multi-site, subscription, utilities, telecoms, or similar data-driven environment
Strong Excel skills; experience with BI tools is advantageous
Experience using ERP or finance systems (e.g. NetSuite)
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and commercially minded
Flexible and keen to develop as the business grows
Qualifications
Degree in a relevant subject (essential)
Professional finance qualification or equivalent experience (desirable)
