Position Overview
We are hiring a Materials Management Supervisor. The Materials Management Supervisor will be responsible for leading the execution of materials management activities for warehousing optimization, inventory control accuracy, process improvements, and executing to department goals. They will be responsible for raw material and finished goods inventory levels and location control to support production schedules for three shifts.

Job Description
Responsibilities
* Lead a team of Material Handlers in fulfilling production work orders, with processes to support 3 shifts of manufacturing, Receiving, Raw Materials releases and pack down operations.
* Coordinates timely movement, proper storage and maintenance of stock location system for raw materials and finished goods.
* Maintain GMP receiving, warehouse and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational shipping and personnel policies and procedures.
* Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures complying with EH&S regulations.
* Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisition for replacement.
* Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
* Co-Lead in coordinating the annual physical inventory for raw materials, WIP and FGs based on inventory policies.
* Coach department employees and manage delegation of responsibilities.
* Assist in the hiring of department employees.
Required Skills/Education
* BS/BA in business or equivalent work experience.
* 3 to 5 years planning experience.
* 2 to 4 years supervisory experience.
* SAP experience.
* Full understanding of production, inventory control and material resources planning.
* Ability to speak and read English.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred experience:
* APICS classes or certification desirable.
