What the Role Involves
The successful candidate will support a portfolio of clients by delivering high-quality bookkeeping and accounting services. Key tasks include:
Core Duties
* Managing day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients
* Preparing VAT returns and submitting them accurately
* Supporting the preparation of management and year-end accounts
* Ensuring digital records are accurate, complete, and ready for senior review
* Responding to client queries on accounting software and financial processes
Experience & Skills Required
* Strong proficiency with Xero (certification beneficial)
* Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Prior experience within an accountancy practice is essential
* Familiarity with Iris Accountancy Suite preferred (training available)
* AAT Level 3/4 or equivalent relevant experience
