About the role
We're looking for casual kitchen staff to join our awesome teams supporting with meal prep, service, cooking and any other duties within our modern Village and Care Home kitchens. These roles are ideal if you want some work over the holiday period or want some extra money without the permanent hours. This could be great for someone located or easily accessible to the area by car or public transport.
We have the casual kitchen opportunities:
9. Kitchen Hand
10. Café/Barista Assistant
11. Chef
12. Cook
You can pick up shifts in either of these roles based on your experience and qualifications but also your enthusiasm and attitude.
Your duties and responsibilities will differ depending on what role you move into (you can be involved in more than one) however, some things will be similar across the board:
13. Providing a safe environment to the residents
14. People facing with great communication skills
15. Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained
16. Ensuring all heath guidelines are followed
17. Treating residents with dignity and respect
About you
We are looking for team members with the right attitude, excellent communication skills and who can work as part of a team to provide support in maintaining our village to a high standard. Some things that will support your application include:
18. Proven experience in a similar role
19. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends
20. Commercial kitchen and or café experience is preferred
21. Outstanding customer service skills
22. Food industry qualification
23. Excellent food hygiene practices and personal presentation
