The role
As a Infrastructure Maintenance Manager within our Coulport Infrastructure section, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary where you'll be key to the business.
Day to day, working within Infrastructure and to lead and manage a team of Delivery Managers and Co-ordinators to deliver all Coulport maintenance tasks and work packages identifying and ensuring adequate resource per demand.
Managing in collaboration with the Head of Infrastructure Maintenance the safety, quality, delivery, cost and people and all resources (including equipment) required to maintain operational output. To lead, develop and direct a team, including Delivery Managers and Co-ordinators to achieve their part of the project and all operations business performance metrics (Safety, cost, schedule, quality).
• Agreeing departmental objectives with the Head of Infrastructure Maintenance and managing these through to successful completion.
• Providing leadership, motivation and support to direct reports, delivery teams and to the department in their development, performance of their duties and positive interaction with customers
• Delivering the maintenance plans in the most cost-effective manner to required levels of performance (safety, contract, cost, quality, productivity),
• Working closely with the Planning and Delivery Support Managers to ensure effective planning arrangements are developed and implemented
• Developing and managing demand profiles for internal resources and external subcontractors to meet workload and budget
• Developing and maintaining enhanced relationships with delivery teams, customers, key stakeholders and Trade Union personnel, to enable and facilitate contract delivery.
Essential experience of the Infrastructure Maintenance Manager:
• Proven experience of managing and leading complex Planned Preventive Maintenance programmes
• Asset Management practices and standards including the ISO55001 standard for Asset Management Systems would be advantageous
• Planning processes
• Budget management and financial control
• Business performance management and continuous improvement
• Effect of business change and how to manage.
37 hour working week Hybrid role - c3 days onsite at RNAD Coulport
Qualifications for the Infrastructure Maintenance Manager:
• HND or above in a relevant engineering discipline
• ILM Level 5 or equivalent - desirable
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC security clearance level for this role initially, with a further requirement for enhanced clearance once in the role
