An exciting opportunity for a determined and self-motivated leader to join a dynamic team of document authors responsible for supporting NOV Aftermarket with standardised technical documentation used to align the provision of services globally.
You will
o Manage and coordinate the activitaies of staff including training, employee development, performance evaluation, hiring decisions, and the establishment of golas and performance objectives for assigned department
o Manage budget and expenditures
o Standardise NOV Aftermarket documentation to align services globally.
o Lead and manage the development of AM Global Standardisation within Aftermarket.
o Drive strategic and technical development initiatives to continually improve Global Standardisation services and deliverables.
o Establish a network of technical support personnel to assist document authors with collating information, completing technical reviews of drafted documents, and performing the required workflow approvals to release documentation for use by Aftermarket.
o Liase with Quality and refer to Industry Standards to ensure the capture of critical and regulatory information and requirements.
o Provide departmental leadership and ensure local employee compliance with NOV company QHSE policies and procedures.
o Maintain and ensure adherence to the department’s Business Process Alignment.
o Manage personnel levels and structure in order to receive, evaluate, deliver, and respond to document requests within a managed and consistent service operation.
You will have
o Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
o Proven experience within a technical or operational management role, ideally with experience of managing a global and multi-disciplined team.
o Experience working with controlled technical documentation and Document Management Systems.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office with an ability to learn Software programs and Applications as required.
o Experience in Oil and Gas industry beneficial but not essential.
