Job Description We invite qualified candidates to become part of our multidisciplinary community team in Buckinghamshire as a Healthcare Assistant. This role involves providing holistic, person-centred end-of-life care and support to individuals and their families, ensuring that they receive compassionate and thorough assistance during essential periods. Your duties will include monitoring and maintaining patients' skin integrity and personal hygiene, supporting their nutritional needs, ensuring they get adequate rest and sleep, and assisting with mobility. You will also help keep the care environment clean and organised and provide essential support in symptom management. You will demonstrate empathetic and professional communication with patients and their significant others, consistently providing high-quality personal care and support to enhance overall wellbeing. Contract: Permanent, available as full-time or reduced hours; multiple openings Work Schedule: Night Shifts: Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays Shift hours: 10:00pm – 6:30am Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale (Aligned with AFC) £24,465 per Annum (prorated), Plus Night-time Enhancements Based: Community-based in Buckinghamshire What we are looking for: Recent experience providing care in a Health or Social Care Environment, including caring for patients at the end of life. NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is preferred. Person-centred and compassionate when caring for the person and those important to them. Ability to develop and evaluate care management plans that meet the complex needs of the person, and those important to them. Emotional resilience and the capacity to work independently. Possession of valid driving license, access to a car, and be willing to drive up to 25 miles.
