The role
Design Engineer (Lighting)
Office Based, commutable from Wakefield, Leeds, Pontefract, Selby, York and surrounding areas.
£35,000-£40,000 + Office Based, Monday to Friday + Holiday + Pension + Flexible Start & Finish Time and Hybrid Working Available (to be discussed at prescreen stage) + Company Benefits

The role will see the candidate designing and developing new and existing lighting products, from concept through to completion. Working in the engineering department you will be working closely with the Technical Manager to aid with the development testing of the company's creations.
The ideal candidate will an understanding of product design engineering, proficient working with CAD packages (e.g. AutoCAD, Relux & Dialux) and have knowledge of lighting or building regulations.

The Role:
*Design Engineer
*Developing new and existing products
*Concept to Completion
*Working within Engineering team
*Working with a team to resolve process issues and identify areas for improvement
The Person:
*Design Engineer/ Electrical Design Engineer/ CAD Engineer/ Draughtsperson/ CAD Technician or Lighting Design Engineer or similar backgrounds all considered
*Experience working in a Manufacturing environment - lighting or electrical experience would be advantageous
*Knowledge and experience using AutoCAD, Relux and/or Dialux.
