Position: PDI Engineer
Salary: £28,000 to £32,000
Hours: Monday – Friday 42.5 hour week

The Role
As a Powered Access PDI Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is fully inspected, tested, and prepared to the highest standard before being released for hire.
Key responsibilities include:
* Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on powered access machinery
* Inspecting, testing, and preparing equipment to ensure full compliance and safety standards
* Identifying defects and completing necessary repairs or reporting issues
* Completing documentation accurately and in line with company procedures
* Ensuring machines are clean, safe, and ready for immediate use
* Supporting workshop engineers where required
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a PDI, workshop, or mechanical engineering role (powered access experience preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Good mechanical and hydraulic understanding
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* NVQ or equivalent qualification in a mechanical discipline (desirable)
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
