Due to expansion the Haywards Heath Agency is seeking a driven and professional Commercial Insurance Executive to help grow our portfolio across the commercial sector. If you’re passionate about building meaningful client relationships, delivering expert insurance advice, and working within a high-performing team, we’d love to hear from you.

About the role:
As a Commercial Insurance Executive, you will be responsible for driving profitable and compliant sales across NFU Mutual’s general insurance products and services and maintaining and developing existing client relationships. Your success will be measured not only by sales performance but by the strength of the relationships you build, and your commitment to quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and assess client needs through detailed fact-finding and provide tailored insurance solutions.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of target commercial customers.
• Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to create targeted campaigns and strategies to attract new clients.
• Promote and sell general insurance products while ensuring regulatory and quality standards are met.
• Maintain and develop existing client relationships, ensuring high retention rates and identifying opportunities for additional services.
• Build effective working relationships with underwriters, regional teams, and internal stakeholders to support client outcomes.
• Accurately complete documentation and maintain records in line with compliance and service level standards.
• Educate clients on NFU Mutuals full range of services and identify opportunities for cross-selling and referrals.


About you

You will have:
• A strong background in sales and customer service skills (insurance sales is great, but not essential), with a track record of achieving targets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical ability to assess client needs and present suitable insurance solutions.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to build and manage pipelines.
• A commitment to compliance and delivering high-quality service.
