English Teacher - Secondary School (Start After Easter)

The Role
As an English Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and accessible lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality teaching that meets a range of learning needs, helping students to develop their literacy skills, confidence, and enjoyment of English.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver creative and differentiated English lessons
* Support students with varying abilities and additional needs
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership
* Contribute to the wider school community and ethos
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching English at secondary level
* A strong understanding of supporting students with additional needs
* Excellent classroom management skills
* A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
