This is an exciting opportunity to lead a pastry kitchen, create innovative and delicious desserts, and help establish Ottolenghis signature style in a brand-new location.
The ideal Head Pastry Chef will be:
* A talented pastry chef with proven experience leading a pastry section, ideally in a high-end restaurant or bakery
* Passionate about creating seasonal, beautiful, and delicious pastries, cakes, and desserts that embody Ottolenghis ethos
* Skilled in menu development, able to create both innovative and classic pastries while maintaining quality and consistency
* Experienced in managing a team, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop pastry chefs
* Knowledgeable about all aspects of pastry production, including food safety, stock management, and ordering
* Able to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
* Enthusiastic about fostering a positive and inclusive team culture
* Comfortable with managing a fast-paced kitchen environment while ensuring quality, creativity, and consistency
