A well-established manufacturing business, located in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their growing team.This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a purpose-driven business that values innovation, operational excellence, and environmental responsibility.THE BENEFITS: 265 hours holiday, pension, progression opportunitiesTHE ROLE: Oversee current warehouse functions, reviewing discrepancies and driving a continuous improvement cultureManage a team of FLT drivers, whilst promoting effective communication between sales, production and the warehousing teamMonitor attendance and performance across the team, identifying training needs through regular appraisalsManaging KPI's in respect of delivery, quality, productivity and costKeep stock control systems up to date and ensure inventories are accurate, improving the quality of stock management by reducing shorts and stock errors through data storage systemsUsing space and equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are metPlan future capacity requirementsOversee the planned maintenance of vehicles and equipmentWorking hours Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm, however flexibility is needed when business needs require this THE CANDIDATE:SAP S/4 Hana desirable Counterbalance FLT licence desirableMinimum 3 years background in a manufacturing environmentSolutions driven with the ability to think and work under pressure with time constraintsPrevious management experience essentialProven track recordService driven mindsetProcess excellent communication and organisational skillsSound appreciation and understanding of stock management and the efficient storage and distribution of goodsAbility to implement new processes and drive performanceTHE COMPANY:A key player in the production of recyclable packaging solutions and is part of a larger international group with operations across Europe.
