Position Overview
A 6 month post is available in London for an experienced senior Clinical Fellow (ST4 ± Registrar) in Paediatrics to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Work a full rota, including short days, long days, twilight and night shifts within a supportive, consultant‑led children’s service comprising an in‑patient unit, paediatric emergency medicine department and children’s outpatients.
* Deliver care within the children’s service, which does not include neonatal or community components, but such work can be discussed if you have the relevant experience and wish to extend your contract to tertiary neonates or community paediatrics.
* Provide paediatric care as part of a multi‑disciplinary and multi‑agency team delivering universal, targeted and specialist clinics at Homerton Hospital and other settings.
Required Qualifications & Experience
* At least 4 years’ experience in acute hospital paediatrics.
* MRCPCH or equivalent (essential).
* GMC registration and licence to practise.
* PALS/APLS training and training in child protection, or willingness to undertake such training soon after starting.
* Clinical fellow ST1‑3 equivalent (or senior Clinical Fellow ST4) with good clinical skills, interested in learning paediatrics or building on prior experience.

The service provides a full range of community child health services based in Homerton Hospital and other settings. Hackney is an urban and cosmopolitan area with diverse needs, offering an intellectually stimulating clinical experience.
