Job Description:
Responsibilities
* Perform structural damage assessments, repairs, and replacements of aircraft frame skins and components
* Carry out metal fabrication tasks including drilling, riveting, bolting, countersinking, and corrosion removal to tight tolerances
* Manufacture and install repair parts using aircraft-specific workshop tools and machines
* Interpret engineering drawings, technical documentation, and work instructions with precision
* Accurately document maintenance and rectification activities in digital and manual records
* Certify completed work in accordance with regulatory and company quality standards
* Collaborate across teams to ensure effective maintenance scheduling and high operational availability of the aircraft
* Adhere to strict safety protocols when working at height or within confined spaces on the aircraft
Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience in metal rectification; aircraft structural repair experience highly desirable
* Completion of a recognised BTEC/ONC/NVQ Level 3 in Civilian or Military Aircraft Engineering
* Familiarity with technical documentation and maintenance record-keeping systems
* Strong understanding of aircraft structural principles and repair techniques
