Job Description
As Head Chef, you will have a passion for delivering exceptional food to our guests. You will develop excellent menus, including weekly specials and seasonal promotions, to delight our customers. You will take a leading role in training and supervising the team, keeping accurate HR records, and developing the skills of the brigade. With an eye for detail, you will work closely with all departments to monitor business levels and ensure appropriate staffing and stock levels are maintained.
* Supervise and manage the kitchen team.
* Work with the team to ensure all service areas deliver prompt, professional, and friendly service.
* Ensure compliance with food safety laws and procedures.
* Understand and implement safer food practices, HACCP policies, stock rotation, cleaning schedules, and allergen tracking.
* Monitor customer satisfaction and take appropriate action.
* Seek feedback from front-of-house staff regarding menu quality and take corrective actions for food-related guest complaints.
* Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth functioning.
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to specifications, complete cleaning tasks, monitor team tasks, place stock orders, and handle administrative duties.
Requirements:

* Strong organizational skills to manage time effectively.

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, involving shifts from 06:00 to 23:00, across 5 days over 7, including weekends and bank holidays.
