The Role
The key responsibilities include all the typical requirements of a busy Sales Ledger role, but with some unique aspects. Specific responsibilities include:
* Overseeing approximately 200 complex customer invoices each month, managed by you and two colleagues.
* Collaborating closely with the business to gather information for end-of-month billing, ensuring smooth invoicing processes.
* Performing forecasting, both long-term and mid-month flash reports.
* Compiling data for internal and client reporting.
* Reviewing current working methods and proposing ideas to modernize and automate processes.
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this role, you need solid, stable, and progressive financial accounts experience. The differentiators include your ability to handle interactions with senior staff or clients without fluster, manage pushback effectively, and demonstrate creative thinking to improve processes while maintaining efficiency and compliance.
