Overview
Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) delivers high‑quality nursing care to patients as part of a multi‑professional team, working under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse who delegates the care provision. The holder is responsible for their own practice, working within defined limits of competence and the scope of the role. The Registered Nurse retains accountability for the care delivered by the HCA.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide patient‑centred nursing care within the scope of competence.
* Support and collaborate with the Registered Nurse on delegated care tasks.
* Maintain own professional practice and adhere to practice standards.
Qualifications and Experience
* Valid Care Certificate or equivalent experience (details required in application).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Hardworking, compassionate, with a genuine passion for caring for patients.
* Preferred: previous experience in a similar role.
Training and Development
You will receive clinical training and daily supervision by trained staff to perform the required clinical skills safely, confidently and competently. The Trust supports your career pathway and development.
Working Hours and Conditions
