Are you looking for a rewarding local role that fits around your daily schedule? Sir John Nelthorpe School is seeking a friendly, dependable, and proactive Midday Supervisor to join our team.

The Role:
Working as part of a dedicated team, you will ensure the safety, welfare, and positive behaviour of our pupils during the midday break.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Supervision: Monitoring pupils in the dining hall, playgrounds, and
2. corridors to ensure a calm and safe environment.
3. Support: Assisting pupils in the dining hall, helping to maintain a clean and organized space.
4. Safety & Well-being: Acting as a visible and approachable presence, dealing with minor incidents, and ensuring school rules are followed.
5. Encouraging Inclusion: Helping pupils engage in positive social interactions and outdoor activities.
We are looking for:
6. A person with a warm, firm, and fair approach to pupil behavior.
7. Someone who enjoys working with young people and can communicate effectively with both pupils and staff.
8. A reliable team player who is punctual and committed to the school community.
9. Prior experience in a school or childcare setting is an advantage, but a positive attitude and common sense are most important!
