Marketing & Content Specialist
Location: Inverness (with travel to Nairn/Alness as needed)

We are a growing fitness business with gyms in Inverness, Nairn, and soon Alness. We specialise in small-group personal training memberships and have been serving our communities for 9 years. Our mission is to change lives through fitness, community, and results. With further expansion planned, we are looking for a creative and driven Marketing & Content Specialist to help us tell our story, grow our brand, and fill our gyms with motivated members.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for creating and managing engaging marketing campaigns that showcase our gyms, coaches, and community. This is a hands-on role — filming workouts, capturing member success stories, producing short-form videos, running paid ads, and organising marketing around events. You'll be the creative engine that drives new member growth and keeps our brand buzzing online and offline.
This role may also involve occasional travel for continued professional development (CPD) opportunities and supporting the business owner in developing a personal brand vlog series.
Key Responsibilities
* Content Creation – Film, edit, and publish short-form video (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts), photos, and graphics showcasing our gyms and clients.
* Social Media Management – Manage Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube; schedule posts, engage with followers, grow community.
* Campaigns & Ads – Run local Facebook/Instagram ad campaigns to promote memberships, challenges, and events.
* Email Marketing – Create simple campaigns in Mailchimp/Klaviyo (or similar) to nurture leads and engage members.
* Event Promotion – Drive attendance at open days, challenges, and community events.
* Branding Consistency – Ensure a professional and consistent look across all content.
* Reporting – Track leads, campaign results, and ROI from marketing activity.
* Personal Brand Support – Assist with filming/editing vlog-style content to help grow the business owner's personal brand
What We're Looking For
* Experience in content creation (video + social media focus).
* A "doer" with strong creative skills who loves fitness and storytelling.
* Familiarity with paid social ads (Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads a bonus).
* Good communicator, organised, and comfortable working across multiple gyms.
* Passion for health, fitness, and helping people improve their lives.
Nice to Have (but not essential)
* Photography and graphic design skills (Canva/Adobe).
* Experience working in a gym/fitness setting or a passion for fitness.
* Confidence using simple digital tools like landing page builders, link-in-bio tools, or CRM platforms.

Pay: £28,616.15-£40,518.04 per year
