Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting Experienced and Trainee Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team. The role involves working in children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We are seeking flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals who want to work in a specialist environment where full training and qualifications are provided.
The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behaviour and complex needs. The goal is to create an environment that caters to their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons and have diverse disorders, behaviours, and needs. Candidates should have the confidence, patience, and skill set to work effectively with these young people and make a positive impact.
Responsibilities include supporting young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. You will also interact with professionals like Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers, supporting young people in settings such as classrooms, courts, and police stations.
A valid driving license is essential, as you will need to drive the unit car and transport young people to destinations like family contacts, school, and social activities.
Applicants must complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully complete one of our induction programmes before placements are offered.

* Undertake additional relevant duties as required
