SAP PP (Production Planning) Functional Consultant (AMS Support)
We are seeking a senior-level SAP S/4HANA PP (Production Planning – Make-to-Deliver) Functional Consultant to support a complex industrial manufacturing environment under a structured AMS delivery model.
The consultant will provide ongoing production support, incident resolution, service request management, and minor enhancements within a live S/4HANA landscape.
The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise in SAP PP within manufacturing environments and be comfortable working in a ticket-driven support model.
Work Mode: Remote
On-Call Requirement: Yes – P1 / P2 Support
Duration - 6 months plus extension
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide L2/L3 functional support for SAP S/4HANA PP (MTD processes)
2. Manage and resolve:
3. Production incidents
4. Service requests
5. Minor system enhancements
6. Support and optimize:
7. MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
8. Production orders
9. BOMs (Bills of Materials)
10. Routings & work centers
11. Capacity planning
12. Shop floor execution
13. Troubleshoot integration points between PP and:
14. MM (Materials Management)
15. SD (Sales & Distribution)
16. EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
17. FI/CO
18. Perform root cause analysis for production issues
19. Prepare functional specifications for minor RICEFW enhancements
20. Ensure master data alignment and process integrity
21. Participate in SLA-driven support model
22. Collaborate with technical teams for defect fixes and transports
23. Document solutions and support knowledge transfer
Must Haves
24. 5+ years of strong SAP PP functional experience
25. Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA PP (Make-to-Deliver / Manufacturing processes)
26. Experience in complex industrial or manufacturing environments
27. Proven background in AMS / Application Support models
28. Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
29. Excellent understanding of cross-module integration
30. Ability to work independently in a structured support environment
31. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
